Course Description
A study of the synergies pertaining to effective Global Supply Chain Management and its role in the digital economy. Topics include the differences in cultures, currencies, business standards, and international modes of transportation

The Object of the Simulation
Is to provide the graduate student with a foundation in global logistics. The course uses an integrated Case-Based Learning approach where the students will collaborate in small groups online analyzing the assigned cases and simulations. At the completion of the course the students should be able to examine the international supply chain networks and performance in different global business contexts. Additionally the students will develop competencies in understanding the dynamics of global integration of supply chain management, forecasting & uncertainty in inventory management, global strategies, and managing digital information

The Goal
Is to have the students engage in an authenic learning activity pertaining to Global Supply Chain Management systems. The application of the simulation will allow the learner to become an active participant in the learning process, rather than a passive recipient of information.

Additionally, the simulation is to motivate the students in allowing them to make their own decisions in deriving at final solution.
